The South Wairarapa Election.
It is said that Mr Charles I’harazyn will stand for Wairarapa South, with Mr Bunny and Mr Buchanan ; that will make three candidates in the field. Mr Charles Pharazyn is an able and remarkably well read man, while his knowledge of political questions is alike minute and comprehensive, but we are creditably informed that he is not ceming forward. Mr Bunny's career some years back as a member for the Wairarapa in Parliament, and Provincial Secretary during Sir William Filzberbert’s regime, proved him to be a good representative and an able an energetic administrator. Mr Buchanan, who of late years has represented the district, has served his electors faithfully, and bolds a very respectable position amongst bis fellow members in the House. Who is to be the coming man ? Well, we don’t know. A good deal will depend on the political programme put forward bv the several candidates.
