Wakelin 16, 10 voters ; A. Dick 15, 7 voters; T. Ward 11, 7 voters; J. Mclntyre 10, 7 voters ; W. Wood 9, 6 voters ; H. Waite 9, i voters ; H. Morrisou 7, 5 voters ; W. H. Reeve 7, 5 voters. The first seven were declared duly elected and the meeting ended

Mr Ward proposed that M.r W. 3, WAkelin be chairman, but Mr Wakeliu decliued, as he stated that he could not be present at all the meeting*, aud Mr Waid was chosen chairman on the motion of Mr W. S. Wakolin. Mr W. 8. Wakelm was chosen treasurer ; and after some discussion Mr T. Wakelin, teacher, was chosen secretary, though reluctant to act, as no other would perform the duties. It was decided to pay the secretary two guineas per annum. It was resolved that the meeting of the committee be held on the first Saturday in every month, but the next meeting nut to be held till June. It was agreed to give the use of thn school for winter entertainments.
