Featherston Town Board.
The regular monthly meeting of the Featberston Town Hoard was held on Monday. Commissioner? present—Messrs Reynolds (chairman), Jag Donald and Oakley. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed, also minutes of special meeting. The Treasurer’s book showed a balance of £35 3s 2d. The lollowiug accounts were passed for payment Bloxham £8 S3, W. Hodder £llßs lid, J. B. Tait£B 18s, Licensing Committee £2 10s, C. W. Keys £1 Ss 7d. The rangers report was read and fees paid £1 t>3, The Clerk paid in rent 12s. The Codectors report way read also Inspector's report. Correspondence inward and outward was read. The following resolutions were passed :—’’That the tender oi‘ Mr Hodder for Dorsett Square be accepted.” “ That the foe for Dog Registration be the same as last year.” “ That Mr J. Donald ascertain if the local constable is willing to accept the office of Inspector of Slaughterhouses.” " That the clerk answer the correspondence when necessary.** <( That this Board will make agrantto the Wairarapa Hospital as soon as the new rates come iu.l’
