The Smallpox in Australia.
On the Ith instant there were seventeen smallpox cases at Melbourne. The Preussen's cargo and mail have been thoroughly dis* infected. Abont 250 persons are in quarantine. At Adelaide there are four oases, bat none dangerous. On Wednesday, at Sydney, eight fresh case were reported.
