A Split in the Cabinet.
There is a split in the Cabinet with regard to the East and West Coast Hallway business. Some members of the Ministry wismal to make this railway scheme a Ministerial question, by which the Governm-ut would stand or fall. But Messrs Ballauoe, Laruach, aud Tole altogether opposed this proposal ;and declared that they would resign if the existence of the Government were to be staked on the question. Meantime it is reported that a motion of 11 No Confidence " in the Ministry will be proposed. The position is, however, changing its aspect hour by hour, aud no man can foretell what new > phases it may assume.
