TENNIS LEADS IN GAMES
(By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The annual statistics of, summer sports does not show any difference in order from previous years. Horse racing in all forms is still the most popular attraction, with galloping 17,907 members and trotting 7155. Tennis is next with 23.319, bowling 15,200, cricket (stated to be incomplete) 6670, as against 10,831 given last year, swimming 7120. Racing is practically the same. as before, though hunt clubs are not included this year. Large increases are shown in tennis and swimming, probably because the returns are more complete. Racing owners number 4903, trainers 14-92, jockeys 1597 and horses 5142.
