SUPREME COURT.
MORE NAMES SUPPRESSED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND. This Day. . in the Supreme Court a married man and a young girl, whose names were ordered to he suppressed, came up ioi' sentence, one for supplying noxious drugs and the other for procuring abortion. Roth were placed on probation for two years. Hugh Arthur Julian, for false pretences, was sentenced to IS months’ reformative treatment, and this will follow the current sentence of three months for theft of a watch. Arthur Lennan. for theft, got two years' reformative treatment with hard labour, the latter penalty beingadded at prisoner's request. Horace Arthur Cart Owen, for breaking and entering, was given two years' probation; Edwin W. 11. Kendall, for cashing his uncle's cheque for £2l, got three years' reformative treatment; and William Robert Curson, for a breach of his probation, received two years' detention.
