LARGE CLASSES CONFIRMED.

ADDRESSES RY BISHOP LISTON,

There were large attendances at all services at the 'Catholic church on Sunday. At Te Awamutu holy communion was celebrated at 7 a.m. Mass was celebrated by Bishop Liston at 9 a.m., and by Father Edge at 11 a.m. At 11 o'clock Mart; the bishop addressed the congregation and administered confirmation to the children.

At 9 a.m. Father Edge celebrated Mass at Ohaupo, and at 2 p.m., with the bishop and his party, again visited Ohaupo. The bishop administered confirmation to the Pirongia and the Ohaupo children, and addressed the congregation. The service concluded with benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

In the evening the bishop conducted a service in Te Awamutu.
