IN SUPERANNUATION SCHEME CAUSES DISCUSSION AT LABOR CAUCUS. WELLINGTON, This day. It is an open secret that a very considerable portion of the time spent by the Labor Party in caucus this week was devoted to consideration of the Government's proposals in respect to superannuation, and the imposition of a means test. In view of the party’s promise to make the scheme universal many of its members believe that departure from that idea will detrimentally affect their chances of re-election, and are pressingl for an extension of the salary limit.
