Mines Closing Down.
(Per Press Association) Greymouth, This day. Notice has been posted to-day at the Brunner and Tyneside mines, notifying all employees that their services will be dispensed with after August 20th. It is understood that a number of men will be discharged owing to the slackness of orders.
