The result of the British—Now Zealand football match will be posted at our office this evening.
The Wairarapa Coursing Club’s meeting was concluded yesterday. The Hawke’s Bay dogs fared badly at the meeting, being all beaten at the end of the second day’s rounds. The following are the results Sapling Stakes—Final— Shaw’s Chattan beat Tyree’s Wanderer. Wairarapa Purse—Final—R. French’s Sweet Nell beat Moore’s Grace Hawthorne. Maiden Stakes—Final—King’s Russeley Belle beat Percy’s Hinemoa. Supplementary Sweepstake Final—Pownall and Dwyer’s King Edward VII. beat Welch’s Navy Blue.
