Shortage of Fuel.
The Railway Department Blamed. (Per Press Association) Hokitika, This day. Strong complaints are being made regarding the difficulty of getting full supplies from Greymouth for the local industries. The Westland Engineering Works will be compelled to close down on Monday, unless coal and coke can be obtained. The blame is thrown on the Railway Department, which has a difficulty in supplying the requisite trucks for the transit of fuel.
