Per United Press Association. Port Chalmers, This day. R.M.S. Aorangi arrived at tho heads at G2O n.m. to-day and steamed direct into port, her draught being 22ft. She still maintains her reputation, having made tho passage steaming from Plymouth in 39 days 4 hours 50 minutes. She brings 2000 tons of cargo for all parts, together with 305 passengers, and 275 bags of mails. She left Plymouth at 2 p.m. on October 23rd end had strong head gales and high seas until clearing tho Bay of Biscay ; then moderate weather to Madiera, October 27th, leaving again the same day. She had a fresh S.E. trades, with head seas till her arrival at Capetown, at noon, on Nomber 12. Sailed again the same evening with head moderate winds and fine weather, sihgting the shores at 2.30 p.tn. of the Ist inst. Then strong south-west winds and heavy squalls were experienced till her arrival.
