[Reuter’s Telegrams.] London, December 12. A mooting of the members of the Irish National League took place at Dublin yesterday, when Mr Parnell reoeived tho tribute of tho various branches of tho League to tho amount of £38,000. In the course of his address to the meeting, Mr Parnell mudo a bitter and vehoiuen, attack upon Earl Spencer, tho Viceroy and Mr Trevelyan, the Chief Secretary for Ireland. Air Parnell, however, expressed full confidence in the ultimate success of the cause.
P ARIB, December 10. In the Chamber of Deputies to-day, a debate took place upon the Tonquin policy of the Government, at the conclusion of which votes of credit and of confidence in the Government were passed by large majorities. In the course of his speech, M. Ferry declared that the Government -were firmly resolved to follow up their present line of policy, awl to push ob operations without further delay. Cairo, December 11.
The Arab hillmen are mustering in large numbers in the neighbourhood ef Souakin, and it is expected that they will make a night attack upon the garrisoo and town. H.M. gun-vessel Hanger, now cruising off the coast, is attacking the rebels with rocket fire, with the view of preventing their approach against the town.
