Local Paper For Mangakino District
On Thursday next another newspaper for this country will have it's birth in "The Mangakino Chronicle," a weekly journal that will endeavour to provide a local news service for the Manga- - kino community and for the districts surrounding the settlement. Circulation of the will also include Tokoroa. "The Mangakino Chronicle" is to be published at Mangakino by a sub-committee from the Waikato Hydro Recreational and Athletic Association, with Mr A. McPherson as manager. . The printers will, be the Waikato In-dependent-Ltd. and the journal will be printed at Cambridge. The size of the new paper will be smaller than the "Independ- r ent" and it will be published every Thursday, the price per copy being twopence. Copies of the "Chronicle" will be available from the Independent Office and any advertising from the. Cambridge district can be- at this office. M full advertising service is offered.
