DOG TRIALS

PROGRAMME AT TIRAU Many Cambridge people will be interested in the annual fixture of the Putaruru-Tirau Sheep Dog Trials Club which is being held on Mr A. Totman's property, Tirau from day to Thursday of next week. This will be the club's tenth annual trials; and entries have been received from a wide area. Leading dogs will be competing for prizemoney totalling £282 10s, as well as valuable trophies. The four main events will be the zig zag huntaway, straight huntaway, long head and short head. Classes for local maiden dogs will be held in conjunction with the others. The club is catering for a large attendance of the public.
