FIGURES FOR SOUTH AUCKLAND OVER 223 COMPLETED UNITS Since the State housing programme was launched in the South Auckland district, 223 units have been completed and let, according to information received from the Hamilton office of the department. Of these,. 26 are double unit buildings. Hamilton is credited with 38 of the completed houses, three of which are double units. Contracts have been let for 172 houses in the district and these are in'course of construction. Eleven houses have been completed in Cambridge and nine more are being erected. Fifty-nine State houses are being erected in Hamilton, and include nine double unit buildings. For 35 houses, of which 18 will be built in Hamilton, tenders have been called but the contracts have not been let. The following table indicates the nosition:
