THE FRANKLIN MEETING PROSPECTS FOR SATURDAY Large acceptances have been received for the Franklin Racing Club’s meeting to be held at Pukekohe on Saturday, and good racing should result. The fields are even, but prospects are: Otaua Handicap, 6 furlongs, First Division: Royal Fawkes, Nordic Song, Bronze Emerald. Pukekawa Hack Handicap, 7 furlongs and 22yds; Yaldene, Royal Message, High Delight. Papakura .Hack Hurdles, 1 mile 5 furlongs: Gascyne, Cappy, Shiwara. Otaua Handicap, 6 furlongs, Second Division: Bronze Moth, Solitary, Bonnybelle. President’s Handicap, 11 miles: Gay Rebel, Royal Appellant, Pocket Venus. Onewhero Steeplechase, about 2$ miles: Count Roussillan, Biform, Kinkle. Harrisville Hack Handicap, 9 furlongs: Vitement, Inquisitor, Hessketoon. Paerata Handicap, 6 furlongs: Jack Tar, Silver Eagle, Little Artist.
