RADIO CONCERT
“DOROTHY” AND “NEDDO” APPEARANCE IN CAMBRIDGE Performers who have appeared over the radio from station IZB provided a programme in the Town Hall, Cambridge, on Tuesday evening. For those who enjoy light items, the entertainers appealed well and humour of a type added variety. Led by “Dorothy,” the Happiness Girl, and “Neddo,” the programme continued brightly to conclude with community singing and a Maori farewell song. “Flo White,” the well known soprano, was heard in several popular numbers, while items were also given by “Pete Kloss,” the yodeling cowboy. The Rocko burlesque was well received, and an exhibition of modern dances aroused considerable interest.
