UNUSUAL SITUATION OCCURS

AUCKLAND WINTER RACING

Owing to the dates of the Auckland Racing Club's winter mooting, which will now be held on May 30, June 3 and (i, an unusual situation occurs affecting horses qualifying for the hunters' events at the mooting, according to information received from the secretary of the Waikato Hunt Club, Mr C. Meredith. On the first day, May 30, a hunter will be qualified if it has three meets on its card; on the second and third days, Juno 3 and 0, the hunter's card will have to show four meets attended. This is worthy of the attention of horse owners. The .first qualifying meet of the Waikato limit will be held tomorrow at the property of Mr T. L. Ranstead. The opening meet at the kennels will be held on May 5.
