Franklin Show.—At the Franklin Show last week Mr H. E. Porritt, of Cambridge, won the special hack class, while in the competitions section Mr G. I). Porritt carried off the gentleman rider’s open class. Mrs T. L. Ranstead, of Matangi, exhibited with outstanding success, winning [first place in the mounted rifles horse class, the heavy hunter class' in the competitions section, and the ladv’s hunter class.
