CAMBRIDGE CHAMPIONSHIPS FIRST ROUND PROGRESS The annual championships of the Cambridge Lawn Tennis Club are at resent in progress. The first round is almost concluded, and portion of the second round has been played. A Grade Championshiss.

SUB-ASSOCIATION RESULTS A GRADE SERIES CONTINUE Second round games of the Cambridge Tennis Sub-Association were decided on Saturday, and one B grade second round game was also played. The district courts were in good order and although the conditions were hot, enjoyable tennis was played. Leamington Defeat Trinity

One of the most closely contested tennis matches played this season vas the Leamington-Trinity A grade fixture, at Leamington. Both teams played excellent tennis and were closely matched. Neither team could gain the ascendancy in any section of play, with the result that both singles and doubles honours were shared. The final score, in Leamington’s favour, was 8 sets all and 95 games to 90. Results of individual games are as follows, the successful team being mentioned first: Men’s singles: A. Reithmuller 2 v.
