Mr J. S. Fisher returned to Cambridge on Thursday evening, after attending the conference of Power Boards in Wellington. Sir William Perry, of Masterton, has been unanimously elected chairman of the Massey College Council for the remainder of the year to fill the vacancy caused by tho death of Sir George Fowlds. AN ENGAGEMENT The engagement is announced and tho marriage will take place shortly of Rita, daughter "of Mr T. A!. Blyth, Ohakune, and Richard Clifford, son of Mr and Mrs ' William King,* ’ Ottringham, Holderness, England.
