OUT OF DANGER
FRANKTON WOMAN’S CONDITION HUSBAND GRANTED BAIL HAMILTON, To-day. Advice that Mrs Ethel May V right, aged 42, who was admitted to the Waikato Hospital in a critical condition with a fractured skull on Saturday evening, was now out of danger, was submitted to Messrs R. T. Reid and F. Maguire, J.P.’s, in the Hamilton Police Court yesterday. Mr W. .T. King, in making the statement, asked for bail, on behalf of the woman’s husband, Cecil Edwin IViight, aged 43, who was charged with doing grievous bodily harm to his wife. Senior-Sergeant Power did not oppose the application. Accused was remanded until February 3, and bail was fixed at one surety of £IOO, and two sureties of £SO each.
