ANOTHER EVENING MEETING ON WEDNESDAY NEXT The Cambridge Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club gives promise of becoming one of the most prominent and active amateur clubs in the Waikato, athletics in this and neighbouring districts being greatly stimulated by the recent South Auckland championship fixture at Victoria Square. The club’s executive is enthusiastic and is deserving of the support of all interested in healthy athletics. The club will hold another evening fixture on Wednesday next, commencing at 7 p.m. The following will be the programme: 120yds hurdles; two laps cycle handicap; high jump; 100yds handicap; four laps cycle, hop, step and jump; three laps flat handicap; twelve laps cycle handicap. Entries will be received by the secretary, Mr J. Giles.
