N.Z. ports, also the approximate payment to suppliers, together with the previous week’s market levels in parentheses, arc as follows: Butter. Salted, 68/- (69/- to 70/-); 7.50 d lb. Advance well maintained. Quiet tone. Payment to suppliers per lb. butterfat on overrun of 21J per cent, approximately 7.10 d. Cheese. White, 41/- (43/-) 4.25 d. Coloured, 43/- (43/-). Payment to suppliers on basis of 4.1 test, approximately 8.50 d. The market is slow.
