Mrs F. Swayne is staying with her brother, Mr A. It. Cox, of Roto-o-raagi. Miss Willis is at present staying with her sister, Mrs J. B. Lusk, on the West Coast. j Mr and Mrs C. Meredith and family ! arc leaving to-morrow for their beach house at Milford. Mrs E. Eussell and her two children, of Dargavillc, arc the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Muller. Miss Dunne returns home on Monday after spending a fortnight as the guest of Mrs Souter at Narrow neck. Miss Cozens, of St. Stephens Avenue, Parnell, is at present staying with the Misses Brann, of Hamilton Eoad. Prior to commencing the ordinary business of the Show Association meeting yesterday, a vote of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr F. H. Swayne was carried. Captain H. R. Hughes, of Dcvonport who commanded the cable-steamer “Iris” (now Eecorder) for 28 years, is on a visit to Cambridge. He is the guest of Mr J. C. Sawers, of Hamilton Eoad. The Eev. J. O. Jensen and Mrs Jensen, of Ponsonby Baptist Church, are at present on holiday in Cambridge. Mr Jensen will conduct the evening service at the local Baptist Church tomorrow. Mr S. H. Judd, 1 of Maungatautari, who has been in ill-health for a lengthy period, is now an out-patient of the Waikato Hospital. Mr and Mrs Judd’s many friends will hope to see a continued improvement in Mr Judd’s health.
