YESTERDAY'S LOCAL SALE. GOOD YARDINGS. The F.A.C. report as follows on tlieir local sale held here yesterday:— Sheep and cattle were yarded in large numbers.and late rates were well maintained throughout. A few of the prices were:— Cattle: Fat cows, best, £G 4/- to £8 11/-; others £5 to £5 17/0; forward cows £4 10/- to £4 17/-; stores £3 to £3 14/-; Jersey heifers, r.w.b., £6 2/6; Jersey heifer calves, f best, £2 14/- to £3 7/6; others, £2 to £2 10/-.
Dairy Cattle: A choice line of dairy cows, Jersey and Jersey Cross, were disposed of on account of Mr A. E. Peppercorn, of Leamington, and averaged £lO 12/-; best dairy cows £lO to £l2 10/-; others £8 to £9 10/-. Sheep: Fat wethers 22/9 to 25/6; fat woolly lambs 21/-; good woolly store lambs 14/3 to 17/9; others 12/- to 13/3; cull lambs 7/8; 2-tooth ewes 27/-; f.m. ewes 12/1 to 14/9; cull ewes 7/to 11/-.
Pigs: Good stores 35/- to £2; slips 29/- to 33/-; weaners 12/- to 32/6.
