MORRINSVILLE SHOW
YESTERDAY'S FIXTURE. THE CHAMPIONS. The Morrinsville A. and P. Association's 11th annual show was held yesterday. The following championships were? awarded:— Horses.—Hack: T. E. Paton's Cheerio. Hunter: A. M. Samuel's El Arish. Draught marc: A. McNieol's Flower of Twizel and Union Steam Ship Company's Cup for Clydesdales. Berries' Memorial Cup: M. McNieol's Clevedon.
Cattle.—Shorthorn cow: J. Hall's exhibit; reserve, R. D. Duxfield's Horotiu. Shorthorn bull: R. D. Duxfield'o Pine Farm Gem; reserve, G. D, Hall'a Pindale Boss. Points' prize: A. Moreland's exhibit. Jersey bull: A. Moreland's Fairy's Eminent Raleigh. Jersey cow: W. H. Micrs' Nobles Choiee. Fricsians: Oakview Stud Farm's Poseh of Oakview; reserve, Mrs A. J. Ci&nents' Bracken King Pietje. Ayrshire* bull: C. Watt's Kintocher Hector. Ayrshire cow: P. Beverley's Kinnettler Maiden.
In the hunters' class the locallytrained El Arish, owned by Mr A. JL Samuel, was adjudged the champion hunter. El Arish was second in walking hack, first lady hunter, first heavyweight hunter, and first light-weight hunter. Miss K. Fisher won the best lady rider event with Miss Mceking second. In the pony classes R. Bourke, R. Peake, Ken Peake and Miss I. Meefcing did very welL
