"BEHIND THAT CURTAIN/' "Behind That Curtain," a thrilling? mystery romance of swift action, adapted from the novel by Derr Biggers, is the principal feature on an excellentprogramme that is sho"wing at the local theatre to-night, and that will be screened again to-morrow evening. The story opens in London where Hilary Galtj' a barrister who makes a specialty of conducting secret investigations, i* murdered. After exciting incidents in London streets under a midnight fog) gay bazaars and Hindu hovels in Pesha* war and in the Persian desert, the eli* max comes a year later in San Francisco, where the tangled threads are satisfactorily unravelled. The supporting shorts are of interestand highly entertaining. 1 'SUNNY SIDE UP." Janet Gaynor's acting is delightful in "Sunny Side Up," coming to the Cambridge theatre on Saturday, for aseason. Her performance is as fine as anything she has done on the screen, David Butler, the director, has done good work, and El Brendel, the Swede comedian, affords gales of laughter by his. delightfully natural and clean-com-edy'. The musical numbers are shrewd' ly devised and there is a real reason for the singing as well as the presentations. One particular song, "Turn on the Heat" is especially cleverly done. "Sunny Side Up/' is a production which abounds in good fun, whimsical touches, and brilliant staging. Excellent supporting 'talkies will complete the programme.
