CAMBRIDGE SHOW

-NEXT WEEK'S FIXTURE.

EECOED ENTRIES.

Or. Wednesday and Thursday of next week the Waikato Central Agricultural Association's 27th annual fixture will be hold at the local showgrounds, and at the time of writing .there is every piospect that the annual event this year will be one of the most successful yet held by the association during its lung years of activity. It speaks well for the district and for the continued popularity of the local show, that the entries are so numerous, promising a most comprehensive exhibition. It. is all the more pleasing to observe that since our review of the entries a few days ago, a large number of entries by post have been received, with the result that the grand total has now reached 1149, against 966 last year, an increase of 183 entries. It should be noted that the total does not include the floriculture, school work and pony

sections. " • We would specially remind readers that entries for floriculture will be rC"" ceived up to the morning of the first day of the show (Wednesday). The season has bjcen a good one for flowers, and there should be a large entry and fine display in this interesting section. Entries for this section will be received at the show buildings. Comparison of Entries. The following is a comparison of entries with those of last year shown in parentheses:—
