• MB./ £OUIS ST. JOHN. •; WELL-KtfOWN LEAMINGTON 'RESIDENT. On Tuesday evening at seven~o 'clock the death took place at his residence of a well'kriown Leamington resident, in,thef-person of Mr. Louis St. John, aged Q 6 years. . - . : ' . The late Mr. St. J6fcn was born at Brighton, England; and with his wife and family came out to .New Zealand nine years ago. On arrival in this country the family came straight .to Cambridge, and have lived here ever since. Mr. St. John was an engineer in the Old Country, and on his retirement decided \vith his. family that they should . try their luck in this country, Mr. St. John had always enjoyed good health, until about six months, ago:

Deceased was a homely man of genial temperament', "and took a very keen interest in local politics. During the war he played a very active part in organising for the comfort of troops. The late Mr. St. John is survived by his wife and son' and daughter, Mrs. Edwards, and Mr. Frank St: John, both residents of Leamington. . There is also orie grandson. , ■

The funeral will leave deceased's late residence to-day (Thursday) for the Leamington Cemetery.

MR. FREDERICK WILLIAM/ : RICHMOND. Last Thursday the death occurred at his residence, Golf Road, Epsom, of Mr. Frederick William Richmond, aged 64 years. Mr. Richmond was a retired farmer, and is survived by his- wife, there, being no family. Mr. William Richmond, of Leamington, was a brother to deceased. MR. JAMES WALLACE. • About three weeks ago the death occurred atj Tiis home at Euawai, Northern Wairoa, of Mr. James Wallace, .agedr 48; years. The lato Mr. Wallace, who was a brother of Mr. J. A.
