MURCHISON DESERTED. , ALARM AT GREYMOUTH. MuTchison is now practically deserted, the community consisting of two constables, one doctor, t two motordrivers, one family-, including two women and children;, a Public Works gang of some 15;men,.and a few "diehards." _'■.'.- A sharp earthquake at 10.39 last night caused, considerable alarm at Greymouth. It was followed by several vigorous shocks.
