BAND OF HOPE
OPENING MEETING. ADDRESS BY REV. L. HUNT. Last evening the local branch of the Band of Hope held its opening meeting for the forthcoming season. Unfortunately, due to the inclemency of the weather, the attendance was not very larg<>. * i The Rev. L. Hunt, of Auckland, was present, and gave a very fine address to the children on the ideals of the Band of Hope movement. There was also presented a varied programme of vocal and instrumental items, which were very much appreciated.
