Further details are now to hand concerning the motor accident which occurred on Monday evening last on the Hamilton side of Horotiu, and in which two Cambridge young men, Messrs A. D. Bluck and Stan. Haworth, were injured.

It appears that at a quarter to six on Monday evening Mr P. Henry, of Ohinewai, was returning in a ear from the Te Rapa races, when he met a motor cycle ridden by Stan. Haworth, with Mr Bluck on the carrier, and Mr Franchi in the side-chair.

At the site of the accident the road is sandy, and apparently the cycle skidded and began an uneven eonrse on the road. The driver of tho car swerved to the wrong side of the road, with the result that a head-on collision followed. Mr. Bluck sustained a fracture of one of tho lower bones in his leg, while Mr Haworth also injured his arm. Mr Franchi was more fortunate, getting off with a severe shaking. The front wheel of the cycle was completely shattered, while the radiator of the car was damaged.

On enqniry this morning we learn that both the injured young men "are progressing as well as can be expected.
