HUNTLY DISASTER
THE VERDICT. The inquest on the bodies of the victims of the lluntly disaster was concluded last night, when the jury, after a retirement, of 40 minutes, returned with a verdict to the effect that the victims of the disaster met their deaths in Ralph's mine owing to the ignition of a quantity of gas in No. 5 section causing an explosion of coal dust. The foreman stated that the jury had not added any riders in view of the fact that the Government Commission would be investigating more closely the question of the cause of the explosion.
