THE WHITE WOLF BANDS. Peking, February 16. Military attaches are sceptical of the Government's ability to crush the White Wolf bands. It is estimated that 30,000 brig- ' ands, disbanded soldiery, and riffraff are roaming the disturbed regions. Received 9.30 a.m., 17th. Pekin, February 16. The Chinese Government is appre- ' hensive regarding the "White j Wolves" rebellion. Thirty thousand troops are forming cordons and attempting to hem them in. It is officially admitted that many army officers are assisting the rebels, who are increasing daily. '
