Captured by Mocrs

FRENCH WOMAN'S EXPERIENCES. Paris, February 16. A Frenchwoman was captured "by the Moors in May last, and assigned as a captive to the harem of a fierce brigand. A baby was born to her two months after her capture, and the other women in the harem threatened to gouge out the eyes of the captive woman and her child. The two first chiefs with whom the woman was associated were killed shortly after, and in consequence she was accused of having the evil eye. Finally, the chief in whose power she was, out of pity returned her to the Spaniards.
