FRENCH TROOPS ATTACKED. Pans, February 3. A ganfc of marauding tribesmen attacked a detachment of tiralleurs in the Adrar district of Western Sahara, an area inhabited by Moorish tribes. The tiralleurs made an heroic resistance and lost heavily, a lieutenant and three non-commissioned officers being among the killed. A column of irregulars is pursuing the marauders.
