A meetirg of the executive of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held this morning. In the absence of the president, Mr !J. Knight occupied the chair, and ! there were also present: Messrs T. ! Hinton, W. Newell, I. Coates and I T. Powell. —The Export Classes.— Mr J. \V. Anderson reported that I the carcases to be .shipped to the Old j Country had been properly labelled and branded. The weights were as I follows: — Beef - Pen 971, A. Orr, fJOllbs, 1; j pen 972, A. Orr, 2061b5, < 41.211. —Outstanding Subscriptions.— The committee commented strongly 1 on the amount of outstanding subj scriptions, £250, and Messrs Coates : and Knight were appointed to revise the list. - The Bate Show.— The secretary presented a rough I balance sheet in connection with the late show, which showed that the accounts to collect totalled £217 9s j 6d; against this there were other j accounts amounting to £67 9s 6d, leaving £l5O to be deducted from the present liability, so that they would probably finish the year with a profit of £l5O. The receipts included members' fees, £289 9s; entry fees, £356 8s fid; donations, £l7B 2s; sundries, £463 12s 9d; total, £1287 12s 3d. Amounts owing: Donation, and fees, £110; rents, £26; members' fees, £SO; donations to cup, £ls; cash in hand, £l6 9s 6(1; total, £217 9s 6d; accounts to [iay, say, £67 9s 6d; balance, £l5O. Expenditure: Overdraft, £2IOO 14s 3d; prizes, I £837 17s 6(1; Wages and sundries, I £Bl 2s sd; sundry accounts, £260; interest, etc., £lO4 8s; total, £338 !2s 4d; credit by receipts, £1287 12s ! 3d; balance, £2096 9s lid. Dr. balance at bank, £l2lO 10s Id; prizes, to pay £624 9s; accounts, £206; total, ; £2094 19s Id. Prize money amounting to £624 9r, 1 and sundry accounts were passed for , payment, totalling in all £BB4 9s. 1
