Hamilton Horticultural Society.

A meeting of the committee of the Hamilton Horticultural Society was held in St. Peter's Sunday school yesterday. There were present—Rev. N. C. W. Radcliffe, president, Mrs Shanaghan, Misses McPherson, and Searancke, Messrs W. Dey, R. Parr, J. S. Edgecumbe, and R. J. Gwynne.

The Chairman stated that owing to his early departure for England he wished to hand over the funds, amounting to £l6 12s 9d, which had been deposited with him by the late secretary.—Mr J. S. Edgecumbe was appointed hon. secretary pro. tem., and the amount was handed over to him.

Two accounts —Waikato Argus £2 12s, and Waikato Time 3 12s—were passed for payment.

It was decided to hold the annual meeting of the society at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, 17th inst.
