TRAMPERS LOST.
SEARCH IN BLUE MOUNTAINS. MISSING SINCE WEEK-END. (Received Thursday, 11.0 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 8. Anxiety is felt for the safety of four ■young trampers, John Birmingham, 22, and his brother Gerald, 17; John Rogers, 19, and Frederick Lane,-17, who have been lost in the foothills of the Blue Mountains since the week-end. They left their homes in Sydney on Saturday, tramping from Richmond to Blaekheath and intending to return on Monday night, Since when they have not been reported, Several aeroplanes and also 150 men are at present searching.
