A most interesting day was spent yesterday and- the girls are taking a keen and lively interest in the various sessions arranged. The girls were in charge of Mesdames K. Groves and C. The Plunket Nurse, Nurse Cocker, gave an interesting talk on the care of babies, and a practical demonstration of the Plunket method of bathing. The girls had luncheon at the Division -rooms, and at 2 p.m. Miss 3. McKenzie gave a most interesting demonstration of floral work. Afternoon tea was provided at 3 p.m., and at 3.30 p.m. there was a capital play reading, arranged by Mr. H. B. Tomlinson. Tea was held at the Division room, after which the girls attended the pictures and later were entertained at supper at the Division rooms.
Another excellent programme has been arranged for to-day.
