WRESTLING.
MATCH IN MUNICIPAL * HALL CONTEST TO-MORROW NIGHT. The wrestling match which, is to bo staged in the Municipal Hall to-morrow night will mark the first appearance in New Zealand of Karem Singh, a Hindu who is expected to play a pro jhtent part in the closing activities of the present season. His opponent, Bob Kruse, is one of the most formidable wrestlers ever brought to this country. Karem Singh has a distinguished record in his native country. He is related- to the Great Gama, recognised as. the world’s finest wrestler of the past decade, and received his early training from that master. Singh is an exceedingly fast and colourful worker. He .has a mastery over all the modern holds and also has several of his own which, he claims, have not previously been seen in this country. Bob Kruse will be welcomed as his qualities are appreciated by all who have seen him in action. In addition to having wrestling skill developed to a very high degree he has a ring personality which makes him a great drawing card. The amateur preliminaries will be as follows:—F.
