RIVERSIDE TEAM TO PLAY TINUI. The following will represent the Riverside Golf Club in a match with the Tinui Golf Club to be played at Tinui during the week-end (cars will leave the P.O. corner at 8.15 a.m.). —Ladies: Mrs Rawlins, Misses Bradley, Samson, Polson, Mahood, Woodhouse, Mrs Palamontain, Mrs Wylie, Mrs Gray. Men: M. A. Rawlins, G. F. Candy, W. C. Batty, B. Woodhouse, L. J. Ninnes, I. Bowden, V. Jones, 8. Onion, L. Wylie, B. Wilmhurst, W. Palamontain, C. Chapman, K. Evans, 8. Finlayson, T. Witherow, A. Hedley, B. Summers. EX-SERVICE MEN. FIRST ANNUAL TOURNEY. On Wednesday, August 5, the Returned Soldiers of the Wairarapa District will hold their first annual golf tournament at the Riverside Links, Masterton. In the morning a bogey competition will be held and in the afternoon a fourball. Mr. C. Campbell Heard has donated a 9.2 German Howitzer shell case, which will be engraved each year with the names of the winners of the fourball. Returned men may, if desired, arrange their own pairs or fours. Entries must be forwarded by Monday, August 3, to the secretary, Mr. E. W. Perry, P.O. Box 76, Masterton.
