FLOODS IN AUSTRALIA.
CONTRACTOR LOSES HIS LIFE IN SWOOLEN CREEK. (Received Monday, 10.48 pjn.) SYDNEY, July 27. Heavy continuous rain in southern New South Wales as well as Victoria caused floodings in some Riverina towns. Arthur Syrett, a local contractor, was drowned to-day when his sulky overturned in the flooded Bong Bong Creek, Koorawatta.
