FOREST FIRE.

SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY SWEPT. FIVE MEN KILLED & OTHERS INJURED. four Small towns burnt. (Received Wednesday, 7.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, May 26. One of the most disastrous forest fires in recent years’-'Swep t southern New Jersey to-day. At least five fire fighters were killed an,d one is missing. A score more were injured. Of thousands of Civilian Conservation Corps boys pressed into service, three were caught in the flames and killed. Two other workers died from injuries. Fifteen to twenty thousand acres of scrub pine were burnt and four small towns within the area were razed.
