OBITUARY.
MR. WILLIAM H. WOODIN. NEW YORK, May 3. Mr. William H. Woodin, former United States Secretary of the Treasury, died on Thursday night. He resigned several months ago when he suffered a breakdown in health. (William Hartman Woodin was born in Pennsylvania in 1868 and throughout his life was prominent in the iron and steel engineering trades. He was chosen Secretary of the Treasury when President Roosevelt formed his Cabinet.) / LORD TREDEGAR. LONDON, May 3. The death is announced of Lord Tredegar. He contracted bronchial pneumonia immediately he disembarked from the Orford after his return from Australia. (Lord Tredegar was born in 1867 and served in the European War. He owned about 40,000 acres.)
