PROGRESS IN OBSTETRICS.
ACHIEVEMENT BY LONDON SPECIALISTS. RECOVER# OF PERITONITIS PATIENTS. (Received Friday, 7 p.m.) LONDON, May 3. The “Daily Mail” says that as a result of a year’s super-specialisation on maternity work, eight specialists at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital secured the recovery of thirty per cent, of sufferers from peritonitis that would formerly have been regarded as fatal. Equal success was obtained in other branches of obstetrics.
