SOUTH WAIRARAPA ITEMS. MAiymnwiwnßri. . (“Tha Age” Hpseial).. The annual meeting of St. Andrew’s Parishioners was held: ia. the- Parish Hall on Tuesday night, the Rev. F. E. Fleury presiding. The following were elect’ed to the Vestry;7— Vicar’s warden, Mr. W. B. Martin; people’s warden and hon. Mr. L Grace; vestry, Messrs? W. J. Steith; Mahood, Brimble, Brentnall, R. A. Mittehell, B. Soughlton, E. Evans, A.. Robinson and H. Daysh. The Vicar thanked all those who had helped in the various church activities tbrougitoiit the year. Miss Dymes eulogised the work of both the Rev. F. E. The monthly meeting of the Women’s Institute was held in the Presbyterian Hall on Thursday afternoon, . when- Mrs. John McLeod presided. There was a large attendance and se--veral' new members were elected. Mrs. Thomas, Senior, gave a most instructive demonstration on the making of pine needle baskets and trays and was ‘accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The prize for the best pikelets went to Mrs. E. C. Evans. Miss E. McKay and Miss Anne McKay ? are leaving shortly for Auckland, where they intend spending a short holiday.
